Ed’s Garage

by Dan Needles

Directed by Brian Otto
Produced by Joe Brenner

November 10 – 19, 2023

Ed and his right-hand man Nick fix cars, trucks, tractors, lawn mowers, outboard motors – and people. With common sense and very little training, Ed serves as an unofficial counselor/therapist for the local farming community. When a trained professional therapist opens an office in town, confusion leads to cooperation, friendship, and love.

Tom Bolton – playing Ed

Tom is excited to be part of ETC’s inaugural show in the new space.  Ed’s Garage is a thought-provoking comedy about rural life in Southern Ontario.  Perhaps there may be a few moments which will touch your funny bone. Tom hopes so. Tom is glad to be back on the stage following his last venture in Of Mice And Men, and wants to thank Brian Otto for allowing him to be “Ed”.  Enjoy.

Michael Grant – playing Nick

Michael is an award winning playwright, director and actor. As an actor and director, he has been part of many productions, most recently The Wild Guys, Of Mice And Men and Old Love at ETC. As a published playwright, his work has been produced across Canada. He looks to unveiling his new script, Forever Love.

Adele Robert – playing Cassandra

Adele Robert has been performing locally for almost as long as she can remember, but this is her first time taking the stage with Elmira Theatre Company. She appeared most recently as Shelby in Steel Magnolias with Ayr Community Theatre. Thanks and love to Alex, Theo, and our families.

Nathan Rossi – playing Peter

Nathan Rossi is a graduate of Brock University’s theatre program. With a double major in classical history and theatre, Nathan is passionate about the arts and how it can be used as a medium to tell stories and affect the complex world around us. He is very excited to take the stage any opportunity he gets and Ed’s Garage is his first opportunity working with Elmira theatre company so the excitement is especially high for this one!

ED’S GARAGE was was premiered by Theatre Collingwood, Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, in August, 2006.
