Brandon Maxwell

Stage Manager
Brandon first joined Elmira Theatre Company in the 2010 production of The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree where he was on stage as a singing and dancing Cabin Boy.  He has been on stage, back stage and in the technical booth learning the ropes of all the positions within an ETC production with an eye to directing a future play.  This is Brandon’s first time wearing the Stage Manager’s hat.  You may remember Brandon from memorable roles in Suburban Standoff, Bare Bear Bones, Sugar Bean Sisters, Shorthanded and many others.  Brandon will be back on the stage again real soon – stay tuned.

S. 'M' Michenfelder

Producer

Mic has been a member of Elmira Theatre Company for several years, filling many positions from house manager, bar staff, parking attendant, bingo runner and a member of ETC’s executive.

This season she is working in various areas, including sound, lights, makeup, house volunteer, and producing.

So many people with time, energy and talent assist in so many ways in the background with little or no acknowledgement and Mic appreciates each and every one of their contributions to the productions at our theatre, demonstrating the true sense of community in community theatre.

Thank you to our generous and talented volunteers, both on and off stage, as well as to you, our audience for making this all possible.

Tony married Margot for her money and plans to murder her for the same reason. He arranges for a scoundrel to strangle her and arranges a brilliant alibi for himself. Surprisingly, the murderer gets murdered instead. Undismayed, Tony sees his hireling’s death as an opportunity to have Margot convicted for the murder. In a race against time, a Scotland Yard inspector and Margot’s former lover lay a trap hoping to expose Tony’s guilt before Margot faces the executioner.

Thom Smith

Director
Thom is excited to be back in the Director’s seat for Dial M for Murder by Frederick Knott, after the success of Elmira Theatre Company’s Western Ontario Drama League festival entry, last season – Outlaw by Norma Foster.  Once again, he is blessed with a fantastic cast and crew to work with, bringing this 1950s classic to life on the Elmira stage.  The endless hours volunteered to make each show such a success, is the backbone of our productions.

On another note, keep an eye out for Thom in the last show of the ETC season, as juror number four in Twelve Angry Men.
